Maria Romano for Arlington Selectman 2011

Thank You

To all my wonderful hard working and generous supporters, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You were there for me and I will never forget it.  Our campaign for a seat on the Board of Selectmen was to give you, the residents a voice.  I ran for Selectman to change the business as usual culture that has permeated so much of our town government.

Promise me that you will make your voice heard, please don't lose hope, and speak up for change.  It was my goal to be a voice at the Selectmen's table.  It did not happen, but know once thing I will hold our officials accountable, demand transparency and integrity in all matters of the town.

I will represent all residents at Town Meeting, thank you for electing me in precinct 7. It is my goal for the coming year to constantly remind our officials that group thinking is not acceptable and that only looking at our problems one way—fails to engage all our citizens.
I will be, alongwith you the little voice in the ear of the Selectmen. Reminding them to do their best and be their best for our young, seniors and town workers.  Mediocrity is not acceptable.

   Thank you,
   Maria Romano
