Greeley elected with 55% of vote; Romano receives 38%, says "I'll be back"!
Kevin Greeley was re-elected as Selected on Saturday, April 10, 2010, despite a spirited campaign by Maria Romano, who received an impressive 38% of the vote.
Maria's showing was all the more impressive, since she has never before run for elective office. Maria has vowed to continue her involvement in Arlington politics as a voice for those who are frustrated with their inability to make their concerns known to the present political structure.
Maria will continue to lead the East Arlington group dedicated to the restructuring of the Mass Ave. Corridor Project, which has already been rejected by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
